On November 2009, the designer was awarded with the Sebastina Star, the highest recognition given by Fashion Group International Mexico City, as best Accessories Designer in 2009.

April 2009, Dalia was interviewed and photographed by Gwen Williams in Miami, for a special project that will feature relevant women in the arts context at the city of Miami

March, 2009, was the month when Dalia was invited by Mattel Mexico to design a special gown and a bracelet to commemorate Barbie’s 50th anniversary.

Both pieces were exhibited at the Franz Meyer Museum, in Mexico City

The designer is invited to be part of the board of FGI (Fashion Group International) Chapter Mexico. Dalia is in charge of the special events organization committee.
